"I had booked a senior classroom for our overnight stay at the Lalit. Upon check in, I was told I’d been upgraded to the Lalit Suite. I didn’t question, why would you when it’s an ‘upgrade’. When I entered the room, it seemed nice enough but just very bare! There was no water in the room, no body lotion or any of the other amenities. The shower gel, shampoo conditioner were bog standard cash and carry products. The pillows are terrible! Whatever happened to firmer pillows? At around 8.30am the house keeping staff started ringing the bell and when I opened the door, she apologised profusely to say she didn’t realise there was anyone there because her notes said the room was ‘out of service’. So clearly, they had either oversold rooms and put me in a room that wasn’t fit / ready, or there was some miscommunication at their end. All in all, it was not the best experience, and I am not sure I will be staying here, certainly not at the price they charge! "

"This was a great location, central to everything and close to the Borough Market (if you a foodie must go!). Across the street is M&S Simply Food (convenience store), lots of coffee and food options, and easy access to public transportation. Accommodation was clean, friendly staff, easy check-in and out. Overall would highly recommend! "

"We loved staying at this location. Everybody on staff was nice and accommodating. The rooms were nicely updated and clean. When we checked in, it was pretty late and were worried about dining options. Lucky for us, the bar/restaurant area was still open. For late night, they offer pizza - which saved us! We loved the proximity to Borough Market - just a few minutes of walking away."
