beautiful lobby, but it was a bit ambiguous where the actual entrance of the hotel was, and there is no porter or doorman to help you with your luggage when you arrive. you're pretty left on your own with all your bags which, for this level of hotel, was completely confounding. the rooms were very clean, but my room looked out onto Pitt St and faced this building where there was ongoing construction. even at night, there were bright lights. noise was also a problem. also the standard rooms are tiny. i also stayed at the sofitel sydney wentworth, and for the same price point, it was a much better experience, in my opinion (there are porters outside waiting, a lot more hotel-like in terms of greeting you, rooms are also way bigger).

Must stay!
The service was great! We got to the hotel quite early, about 9am and they already had our room ready without notice! Itโ€™s a dog friendly hotel, so you will meet a lot of furry friends. They have a hotel guest happy hour at 5 - 6pm (sadly we never took part due to other engagements) Rooms was great, though the TV was a bit strangeโ€ฆ it was a bit hard to access Netflix on it. We were in a Standard room which really didnโ€™t have a lot of sunlight as it opened to the building next door (typical Sydney so canโ€™t complain about it). There are other rooms that open to the atrium which gets a bit more sunlight Overall great hotel!
