Whilst this property could be considered dated or retro in its aesthetic, it was clean and well appointed and exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable, the pool and spa were very welcomed after a long drive and its location was ideal! Would recommend and stay again.

Great halfway hotel for a drive to QLD

Very comfortable stay , the Motel is very quiet at night for a great nights sleep. Great location for access to the freeway to continue the drive either to Melbourne or North to Queensland, eight and a half hours drive to home for us. Will stay again.

The rooms are spacious and great size for families, big kitchen space and bathroom too, just found the sheets to be old and discoloured and so had a dirty feel as well as we were lacking in extra blankets, so found ourselves cold every night, and the beds do banana and so even though we have regularly stayed here, and generally we have found the rooms suit big families, just felt it wasn’t quite up to standard in clean feels and comfort this year

Executive spa suite

The room was very clean but outdated the bed was very firm room service was excellent fast and friendly the food was good friendly staff all round the cocktails were delicious the restaurant was fully booked so missed out on that overall it was a good night away with my husband

Perfect. We had a family function and it was ideally located. Room was spacious and clean staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue was room 18 has a very noisy aircon that made it very hard to sleep. My daughters room was perfect.

Out-of-the-way Stay

I stayed here after my usual accommodation didn't have availability and I'm glad it happened that way as I discovered somewhere even better to stay. It is quite out of the way and relatively quiet, a good night's sleep and a shower being all I need. The room was quite large and would be more than enough for two people. The brick walls kept out noise from other guests and there were plenty of in-room facilities such as a smart tv and toaster. The bed was comfy and towels adequate. Parking is easy and there are more than enough spaces on the whole site for everyone. The hallways can get quite warm but there was free ice and water in the doorway I was entering through, and the air con in the rooms is very efficient. There is a pool, however I didn't use it, but it appeared to have a canopy. The only things I would change are that it would be good if it was possible to arrange late check-out during the week, and there was no microwave in the room.

Firstly, was very disappointed to step out into our courtyard and find a filthy smokers bin which had not been emptied, made a note to always ask for a non smoking room, and whilst I appreciate the room may be a non smoking room, the fact that guests can smoke in the courtyard means that smoke drifts inside the room. The rooms are starting to look very dated and much in need of renovations. I found the bed and pillows to be quite hard. My hubby did not. The restaurant bar area looked nice but we did not use them. Disappointed that there was no breakfast offered and no room service. The pool area looks very inviting. Unfortunately the surrounding area near the entrance of this motel is nothing short of disgusting and in regards to the building next door, council should be hounded on that to see what’s going on, it’s been in a derelict state for years
