The bad: Hotel is under construction. Facilities are crude at best. WiFi slow, fridge may or may not work. The good: Price is reasonable, nice view of Tequila.

The impression I had was this property is just being re developed. It is an amazing location and property with numerous local Mexican features amidst agave fields and fruit trees of all types. But much of the property was under construction Staff were very pleasant but not well organised. I will go back for the surroundings but am aware there are limitations

The staff was amazing. They helped us with everything from finding the NFL game on the TV, ordering a pizza and providing dining recommendations. The were knowledgeable of the events happening in the area and offered advise with parking options in downtown. The hotel was undergoing renovations but didn't impact our stay at all. The grounds were nice. Agave fields with plants and flowers were beautiful. The HOT water and water pressure was in abundance. Will absolutely stay here again!!!!

It is very difficult to access since they are fixing the street and there is only one entrance lousy service by the staff

The pictures on here are outdated by 20 yrs probably. Nobody stays here we were dumb enough to book it for 2 nights n only stayed one n they didnt even offer to reimburse us even though its ghost town there. Dirty every room. No ac smelled like mold. The furniture was from the 80s. No essentials, towels n blankets about 10 yrs old. Worst experience worst room I've ever stayed in! Expedia should take this garbage off the site. Would give 0 stars but I cant.

This is a lovely rustic property and fine for the price. Nice views and spacious rooms. Unfortunately it's up a big hill and out of centro so you need a car or cab to get into town and I believe they don't have Uber. The people were lovely and accomodating it's run by a family who lives there. The TV was really small and the fan's glass was broken so needs some attending. As you can't easily get into town would be great to have at least a selection of some beverages on hand.

BUYER BEWARE!
DISAPPOINTING. I booked based on the images and assuming I would get a room similar to that based on my selection. Instead I was put in a room that was likely their former sons room. This has no reason being on Hotels.com or any site. They closed the gate in the evening to my surprise. Spent 10 minutes on the doorbell- I had to scale through the side. I only stayed one night and left. This place has years before it can get to a place where it can be desired and this is evident by the construction all over the place (slowly progressing). The road noise is extensive. Towels are old and appear to dry outside in the element because they where ruff in texture and feel. Overall it is not ideal for any situation or budget.

Staff was amazing … Hotel was not near any local stores and was on a dirt road took me a while to find the hotel …restroom and room itself no words for the price you can’t beat it but would not stay here again

Whole property is still under construction. The 4 rooms in the main property are inside the main house where the restaurant is so you can hear anyone there that is talking. So no sleeping in here.

The place was nice, however, we had no working plumbing or water in our room. The toilet did not flush, and the sink had no water. The shower worked at night, but not in the morning. It was 10:30 pm, so we didn’t want to wake the place; It’s kind of like a house. I think we were the only guests. We had to use the toilet all night long without flushing, then in the morning, we filled a trash can with dripping water in order to flush. No apologies, at all, from the management..no offers to use a different room, no refund, no words, nothing at all… Just a look like, “oh well”.

Property was under construction, the pics did not show that. 1) We had to call and wait a long time to get in and out of the property. 2) The shower was inside a Jacuzzi tub that was not working and not centered, we had to lean into the wall to shower and almost slipped into the wall 3) There was a spider inside the tub. 4) The bathroom window couldn't be locked. 5) When we used the water faucet in the bathroom we got all wet, due to it not being installed correctly. I RECOMMEND THE OWNER TO SPEND A NIGHT AT EACH ROOM TO MAKE SURE HE SEES ALL THE ISSUES THE ROOMS HAVE!

Getting into the hotel was a pain. You have to call for them to open the gate so be ready to make an international call if you live outside of Mexico. Out shower did not work. We literally had to sponge bath.

Beautiful property! Staff was very friendly! The view from the room is breathtaking! Spacious room and beds are big. This property is on top of a mountain and it’s gated for guests only. Will definitely be staying again when I go back.
