"Second time staying at The Prestige. We mainly went back for the Spa and the room. I liked the water pressure and also they have filtered water tap in the room so I can refill my bottle. The room is very spacious and comfortable for two pax, however the carpets do have some stains but not too obvious. The staff are all very friendly and they remembered our names and always made the effort to greet us. The location is very convenient, you can get to most of the famous food places in less than 5 mins via grab. Also quite happy that Bei Gong Cha bubble tea shop is at the hotel! Easy BBT fix! Donโ€™t need to order Chagee. The pool was under maintenance when we went the 2nd time, also the gym a bit small so didnโ€™t use it. Overall, Iโ€™ll definitely stay again !"

"Beautifully restored - heritage exterior with mod cons suite. Staff were attentive & very obliging. You get what you pay for with this boutique hotel The hotel gets the big things right. There were a few things that could be improved: โ€ข The hotel has a 24-hour front desk & advised us to leave the room key with them when we go out. However, on our return, the front desk wasnโ€™t manned. We had to wait some 10 minutes before a staff member appeared. A simple bell or alert system when a guest is waiting at the front desk would solve the problem โ€ข The tea cups in the room were chipped, so was the marble top of the breakfast table"

"Feel very welcomed. Awesome staffs from front desk to breakfast room to housekeeping. TV and the kettle didnโ€™t work on first night and they sent electrician the next morning to get it fixed. They also gave us a plate of fruits for our trouble. Small gestures but made us felt valued. Room was very nice, bed and pillows so comfortable and shower was wonderful. The gym was slightly underwhelming thought it would have more equipments. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Slightly disappointed with the location. I imagined it to be right in town with lots of shops and eating places but Gurney Drive was not what I remembered fifty years ago!!! Probably better off staying in the heritage area of George Town. But it is fairly easy to get Grab and reasonably priced too. Dont go to Bali Seafood nearby, it is expensive and mediocre, I donโ€™t understand how it get Michelin award at all!!!"

"Once again our stay was very enjoyable. The staff in the restaurant are so friendly and assist in any way possible. The pool attendant was exceptional, bringing our towels down personally and setting them out for us. Everything is well maintained and our room overlooked the Straits of Malacca. We shall return."

"The room was spotless and well appointed. There is a local hawker centre about 400 meters away which we walked to for dinner. The bus stops were very handy and only 2MR to George Town. Zeus coffee was 5 mins across the road which my coffee enthusiastic enjoyed for price and quality. "
