"My husband and I stayed for a week at the Hyatt Ziva. The best and most amazing part of this resort is the beach - it’s a private beach in a protected cove which made the whole area feel really quiet and secluded. We were visiting shortly after some issues in the city which reduced tourism so the hotel was fairly empty (which we loved) and some of the restaurants closed since there weren’t many people. Our biggest complaint overall was the food was just not good at any of the restaurants, and the drinks were extremely watered down. Otherwise, we loved this hotel and the staff were amazing. There was free kayaking and plenty of pools - no beach chair reserving. We left our kiddo at home but there were a lot of fun kid activities planned. Not many adult activities but again, I think that’s probably because the hotel wasn’t busy. We loved it here overall!"

"Property was clean. Very basic room. Upgrade to ocean front/view for sure. Front desk staff and male security kind. The female security guard was intrusive and did not appear to like people. There is a long lost of rules once you check in. Absolutely no eating any food or beverages of any kind on the hotel premises only in your room unless you purchase food or beverages from them then you can. You can't even sit in lobby...and the female security will threaten police. THIS made me feel unwelcome and I will never book again. Zero fun here way too intrusive. Better to go elsewhere."

"Everything is perfect but my only comment is I’d like to see the rooms upgraded a little bit. A small renovation would make so much difference. But I’m not complaining - this is a great resort."

"The property itself was well maintained, with clean and tidy grounds that made a good first impression. The pool area was also a highlight—clean, well kept, and a nice place to relax. Another big plus was the location, with easy walking distance to the beach and nearby shops, which made getting around very convenient. That said, the rooms were a letdown. They felt outdated, and there was a noticeable old furniture smell that took away from the overall comfort of the stay. With some updates and attention to the interior, this property could offer a much better experience. "
