"Excellent place to stay for a night if you arrive from the airport late or have to leave early in the morning. There is a shuttle bus for about £8 for a return ticket or £4.50’ish for one way. You can pay with your credit card on the bus. Shuttle pick up and drop of location was sent by e mail when I booked . Staff were friendly and courteous. I would return for sure. "

"This was my third stay in the last month here. This is an old hotel and a bit tired in places. However, I keep returning because it is great value and the staff are very friendly. When I arrived this time, Sarah on reception offered me a room upgrade as the hotel was quiet - a lovely gesture and much appreciated. I’ll certainly be returning! "

"Great experience from walking down the ramp from the North Terminal - perfumed walkway, first class service from Eleni at reception, great service in VIP area on 8th floor. Sofitel does it right. Everytime. That’s why I stay there everytime flying out of Gatwick !"
