"Great stay, here three nights. Quick and excellent staff, breakfsst was more than expected. The well appointed exercise was a plus. There were several great restaurants close by( casellis) as well as the hotels."

"Absolute gem of a place with stand out friendly staff, amazing location. Our room even had a view of St Peter’s basilica which was beautiful at sunset. When we return to Rome we’d happily choose Mama Shelter again. The pizzeria was excellent (service not superb in there but pizza was great). There are some great food options around the area, we ate a typical Roman breakfast opposite Cipro Metro station. There’s a Carrefour (make sure you get a discount card as this can save you a fair bit), and Cococ was excellent a few strides out of the door, for a breakfast also (they do evening meals there). We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, it was quite pricey at €22 each - you can get a lot more in this Prati neighbourhood for much less "

"Worst experience i ever had. Never would recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst overall experience. Paid 440$ for this worst experience 1. Towels in the bathroom were full of hairs and tub too when i checked in 2. Poor customer service - staff doesn’t know when to knock our room door, they knocked our room door at 10.40pm when normal people esp with kid actually sleep by then. I didn’t open the door because first thing was i got scared but they kept on knocking (i would say banging)until i opened the door. 3. Nobody knows English and the staff who comes to fix things starts yelling and taught me how to lock the door. My question is why did they not teach the same to their housekeeping folks because they left my door open for 2 consecutive days. I learned from caesar roma staff that the door are to get locked only when it is bashed it doesn’t get locked when done in a slow pace. 4. Most important is that house keeping folks steal stuff from the room( my expensive perfume was stolen), the day before we were going to checkout the house keeping persom stole the perfume and when reported twice no response from 2 receptionist other than we have reported it to the manager i.e it. "

"This was a great stay. The staff was so delightful and help. The bartender Zahid was so personable. He made our stay so much better. Definitely lodging here on my next trip to Rome. "

"Everything was great, very nice cleaning staff. Came from Portland Oregon and was able to do everything. Breakfast was amazing, chiefs are extremely attentive and kind. I’ll be back!"

"Because you’re in Europe, you don’t get many American television channels. There were only 2 channels that played the same shows over and over. We should at least be given a smart television to access our own shows. The bed is extremely firm, not really comfortable. Some of the staff were more helpful than others. "
