"Breathtaking resort with great service, food, drinks, & clean rooms"

"We took our 3-year-old and overall had a decent trip. We lucked out and got a room in decent proximity to the amenities. The Water Park is a nice addition and does have shuttle services. It is important to note that the resort is somewhat spread out so you do need to be prepared to walk to access food. Downside was the "app" is not really all that helpful. It shows events, but doesn't explain what the event is or who it is for. We also bought a ticket for a boat ride, through a vendor at the hotel, but it turned out to be a bit different than what the photo showed. This isn't a hotel issue, but I would recommend purchasing excursions before hand when you can research them. Like Mexico, as soon as you get the airport, people are trying to sell excursions. We purchased one to Domiti Park, which was pretty great."

"Everything was a 10/10. The staff made my family feel like we were at home and treated us so well. There's no other place we'd rather stay at. This experience was one for the books and we can't wait to return. Jose Jimenez was taking care of all our needs for the whole stay and did wonderfully. Whatever we needed was provided for us in a timely manner. The food was great and so were all the amenities. Thank you all so much for the great experience and please extend our gratitude to the staff at El Mercado especially. We can't wait to come back with our extended family next time!"
