"The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean although quite basic. Breakfast was really good with a big choice available. We had a very enjoyable stay and the only reason I marked it down was due to the hotel looking tired in different areas and could do with a refresh. "

"The room we were allocated was nothing like those advertised. The bathroom had crumbling plaster on the walls ,The very bleak room had poor lighting and curtains that would not open properly to see the 'Sea View'. No hairdrier/no ironing equipment as advertised. The restaurant and the bar was not open at all. The staff were courteous and the linen in the room was clean and fresh, but with nothing to stay and enjoy, we left a day early to come home. Eastbourne itself is sad and neglected as highlighted by the state of the pier, so all in all we regretted this booking with Expedia."
