"Room was shabby at best. Bed was clean but floor dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. Plug didn’t drain, taps in a state, shower barely worked, blind in room broken, room so hot had to have window open (no air con). Not sure what the standard rooms were like but this was a club room!"

"Pool and spa were brilliant good for kids not too busy and nice areas to relax. Staff were really helpful at breakfast especially with the kids. It would have been nice to have a vegetarian sausages on the menu. Reception staff were amazing check in and checkout really efficient. Overall highly recommend and we would defo come back "

The cleanliness in both rooms was impeccable—everything felt fresh, well maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. We truly appreciated the complimentary amenities, including parking, water, and fruits—small details that made a big difference and reflected genuine hospitality. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet very convenient for accessing Oxford city center, making it ideal for a relaxed stay. The staff were courteous, professional, and always ready to help, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. "We travelled to Oxford for a break from city life and found this lovely hotel. The service was great on check-in. The bar service was also very good. Drinks were a little bit on the pricey side of things. Our room was lovely and well presented and we found the bed to be really comfortable. There was one issue however. at night the balcony lights would come on automatically, which meant light attempted to shine into the room. If I woke up early without looking at the clock, I think the Sun was rising. "
