We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very welcoming and, even though there was a bit of a language barrier, they always did their best to accommodate our needs. The property itself was well kept and spotless — our room was tidy, fresh, and exceptionally clean. "The staff was professional and very helpful. As a foreigner visiting the country, I appreciated the employee's effort to support and accommodate. The facilities were clean and orderly. The hotel location was very convenient for transit and local shopping. There have been some reviews about crime in or around the hotel but I didnt experience any of that. I was able to walk around alone around midnight and didnt feel unsafe. Now, walking around at midnight may not have been a good idea but I didnt see or experience anything that made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, my family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property and would stay there again. "
"I was very impressed by how clean, quiet & inviting the property is. The entrance is sort of tucked away in plain sight in a bustling area of Ximending with the lobby on the 6th floor. The Japanese vibe felt very authentic, and the staff were so professional, caring & helpful. My room was on the 21st floor and had a stunning view of the city. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathtub was a delight. Some areas of the property are showing some age, but you can tell it is thoroughly maintained. Highly recommend. "
"The pool on the 32nd floor has a nice view of the city. Only thing that I would change about the pool is to have extended hours. It closes at 9pm already which feels a bit too early. "
"Everything was perfect, except that they charged us $200 NTD to replace a single room card at checkout. For a wonderful hotel like Jasper Young, that was not expected. Most places don't even require guests to return the card, or just they have have drop off box available.
Room card aside, the hotel was perfect. It is located at a comfortable walking distance from two different stations. Bed, pillows, and blanket was clean (coming from someone with allergies) and I woke up refreshed each morning. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. "
