Great hotel, brand new l, awesome location. The service is great and the only issue I have is the hotel doesn't have good breakfast options included in it's package.

Affordable, comfortable, convenient
This was an affordable and comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. The hotel was only a couple minutes walk from the train station, and the station is a short train ride away from Kamakura. If you're looking for a more luxurious stay, this probably isn't what you want. That said, I definitely felt I got my money's worth and would stay here again.

Kamakura-ofuna is NOT Kamakura
The hotel is a budget hotel for transit or local business travelers. It's two stations away from Kamakura ( about 3-5 min ride) a much more interesting place. Ofuna is just a small town with some eateries in town centre. Luckily the hotel is easy to find and close to train station Hotel staff speak little English and have to use a handheld translating appliance to explain if you don't speak Japanese

Good location but smoky and old
The location is really convenient as there are many restaurants and shops nearby. However, the hotel was very smoky that all our clothes in my luggage became contaminated after 1 night. The level of unpleasant smell is like you are in a room with several people smoking. Once you stepped out of the lift on your floor, you can feel this. And of course, the room was the same. We felt so disappointed.

The hotel was conveniently located. I.e you can see it from the station upper floor, and it was an easy walk with a heavy suitcase. The room was a little small but adequate.

Convenient location and good facilities
Comfortable stay with everything we needed. Really easy to get to Kamakura and surrounding area and practical for the return train to Narita. This is not the Town for you if you want to be with other tourists however. Very much a place to be with the locals

Friendly Staff, who kept our luggage safe, New Hotel with clean room, and near station, Large tall sign makes it easy to find. Lobby has facility and is large. This chain is really great.

location is very convenient- less than 5 minutes from ofuna station. Room is similar to most of these types of hotels but a bit tired and is a bit noisy with buzzing sounds and water pipes sounds in the room.

Great Hotel in superb location!
The hotel was fantastic! Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is really nothing to write home about though for 600 yen, you get what you pay for. The location is very central to all the attractions in the surrounding area and as the hotel is super close to the train station it is very easy to get to anywhere. We liked the quiet pass of Ofuna!

Satisfied stay.
It’s very relaxing here with a comfortable room. This hotel building is located right in front of Ofuna station and a few metres away from a vibrant area of restaurants and bars. There’s a fancy cafe on the ground floor, next to a front counter. They provide a lot of amenity goods for free.

Perfect for our last night in Japan
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station. We wanted to visit Kamakura and Hase for one day and be able to easily access the airport on our last day. Ofuna is on the Narita Express train which goes directly to the international terminal at the airport. This little hotel is much less expensive than staying in Tokyo or Kamakura and was very clean and comfortable.We had read that the rooms were tiny so we booked 2 rooms side by side which was perfect for me and my husband. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and even gave us umbrellas to use for our stay. There is a little cafe attached to the hotel lobby which is very convenient for breakfast or afternoon snack. The train station also has many different food offerings and a nice shopping centre. We were delighted with our stay at Sotetsu Fresca Inn Kamakura-Ofuna.

Amazing location near Kamakura
We stayed for two nights, and while the room was small, we were hardly there, so it was fine. It's right next to the train station, but very quiet. It's an amazing value and in the middle of a great area filled with shops and restaurants. We came to see the temples, and Ofuna is only one train stop from Kita-Kamakura, where many must-see temples are located, and also the start of the Daibutsu Hiking Trail. Kamakura is only two stops away, and the ride takes less than 10 minutes. Ofuna is also the place to take the Shonan Monorail to Enoshima, a ride that took a fun 15 minutes and 600 yen roundtrip. It was the perfect seaside escape after 2 days of temple hopping. Staying in quiet and peaceful Ofuna was a great choice for us, and the economical price more than made up for the train fares. (It costs about 160 yen one way, about $1.50) Not to mention that Ofuna is also the terminus for the Narita Express, which was convenient as we were returning to Narita for our flight home.

The room was okay, kinda small but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel. Laundry facilities are terrible; the staff takes your clothes out of the washing machine when they're still wet because other people want to use it. We set the alarm so we would be back in time to dry our clothes, but they would be gone already. Very rude of the locals!

We stayed her on an overnight to visit Kamakura- but really should have just gone back to Tokyo fir the night (1hr via train ( It is close to train station and staff are friendly. The room was very very small and bed was like large single bed . Vending machine downstairs .& cafe for breakfast . . Lots of food on offer close by or take out in large Dept store nearby . Really nothing to see in Ofuna . So can't recommend

Directly in front of Ofuna Station!!
This hotel was a gem! Directly in front of Ofuna Station (and I mean it!), it was the ideal location to travel from there to Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and even Yokohama. The employees of the hotel were extremely dedicated, friendly and helpful, despite not having a perfect English knowledge. We managed to have them combine our two reservations (the first one was for two nights, as per our original plan, but the second one was the third night by itself, since we had to change our itinerary) so as not to have to change rooms between night #2 and night #3. The room itself was a little small, but not uncomfortably so. The bed was really comfy and the whole place was very clean and welcoming.
