"We stayed at juanmar for 1 night as a quick getaway from the city during our 1 week trip to cartagena. Pro's: the staff and the owners were absolutely wonderful and very warm and welcoming. During our stay the hotel and the town of Santa Veronica were not very busy, traveling as a couple looking for a quiet place this was ideal. We had a private beach and hotel nearly to ourselves. The cool ocean breeze was a nice break from the heat in the city. The location was great, a short distance...

"I love this place SO MUCH! It's such a hidden gem, the Uber driver actually had to ask a young boy where it was, even though we were about 50 feet from the property. (It shares space with a kitesurf shop. Just look for the gear hanging on the wall.) Heavenly private! I was skeptical that such an inexpensive room could actually have a view of the ocean, but they were telling the truth. Five minutes after checking in, I was swinging in my own hammock, hanging from the walls of the veranda...
