"this is if you want cheap and cheerful then its perfect the rooms are very basic and a little outdated. the shower was more of a dribble than a shower. the rooms were clean and the staff very helpful when i had a issue on arrival "

"We were greated warmly and shown to our room. Yhe bedroom was enormous, clean and the bed very comfortable. We were lucky enough to have the room with the 4 poster bed. The shower, although ran from the bath taps was very powerful. There is a small carpark out the back, which was a little bumpy to get into. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice and good value for money. Again met very friendly staff. The inn/hotel is obviously enjoyed by local people who were enjoying a drink...

"Had a brilliant stay at The West Bay hotel. All the staff we very friendly and welcome. We had our lab with us and loved meeting their dog Elwood. The room was perfect & huge! Better than the photos showed. Top quality features and fittings and made for a perfect Birthday trip. Highly recommend and miles above the other hotels in West Bay."

"We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early."
