"This is a clean hotel with excellent staff. Unfortunately, it’s in downtown Oakland and there are a lot of homeless outside. However, my dad was in the Kaiser hospital and we wanted to be close. This was an excellent place to stay to be close to the hospital. "

Although stay was mostly great, one thing overshadowed it all and made the stay less than adequate. For some reason they booked multiple boys high school basketball teams on the third (top) floor (i was on second floor) and they were very loud bouncing basketballs and running around until midnigh every night and early...
