"Hotel Nikko is near tenderloin so be careful walking around at night. The room we got had a Bluetooth speaker in it so that alone would make me inclined to book again. The staff were really nice. The lobby looks clean and modern. It’s a bit dusty in the rooms which caused a lot of allergies but otherwise good stay. "

"The best! Everybody/staff in the hotel... front desk and door men were very friendly and the best. Assisted us with the storage of our luggage. "The renovations (since it was known as the Sir Francis Drake) created a very nice and pleasant atmosphere. Noise level on the Powell Street-side was relatively high due to a combination of the trollies and late-night conversations/shouting in the street. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic. Note: I unexpectedly ended up extending my stay and was moved to another room. The noise was not an issue at all on the Union Square facing side of the hotel."

"It is always a pleasure to stay at the Hotel Emblem. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Love the location. It is walkable to shops and restaurants. It also has an onsite bar/lounge and coffee shop open during the day. This is my favorite SF hotel. I highly recommend it."

"Around 40 minutes from the airport and only a few blocks from the metro station. Everything you need is a few minutes walk from the hostel. Property is a great deal and was safe. Welcoming environment and everyone was respectful. Room was clean and working wifi. It’s great to see this type of hostel in the US. "

"There are some coffee shops nearby but very limited restaurant choices. The hotel has a coffee table set in the morning. Very convenient for fans at the huge stadium across the road."
