"Fast, efficient, polite check-in process. Images on website didn’t do the room justice. Large and well-appointed room. Imperial club lounge was surprisingly quiet. All staff were excellent from valet parking through to reception and restaurant."

"The staff was amazing and lobby was also amazing! For the price we paid it was a lot nicer than most hotels at comparable pricing we have stayed at previously in other big cities. It was 65$ additional to bring our cat but they hooked it up with a small bottle of wine so no Complaints here. All other hotels say they only welcome dogs when booking. "

Old antiquated they put some money into it to pretty it up but we typically stay at the Clift for the same price and it is far superior in every aspect. Also the elevator situation where you go up a floor and change to another is a joke. Total letdown"

"This is a historic property important to the history of San Francisco. The lobby has been re-done by Phillip Stark, and was popular with young workers on weekday afternoons. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would reserve it again. "
