"I had room 402. Room was quaint but had everything I needed. There was a cute little balcony overlooking a courtyard in the back. The shower made everything wet and leaked into the room, but maybe I didn’t shut the door tightly. Make sure you stash everything you don’t want wet-including the toilet paper! The only “complaint” I have is I couldn’t figure out the heat/thermostat. Maybe it’s just me and my American ways. I could hear the family next door through my walls, but maybe it was just...

"Very nice place in the middle of Venice. Be aware that it's kind of a maze to get there from the port. There's no taxis or car on the streets of Venice which means that you have to walk all the time anyway. Restaurants are by the dozens, shopping is everywhere. Have fun because this hotel is in the middle of everything."

Right around corner is Sommariva Gelateria for excellent breakfast plus several other restaurants that serve breakfast. Very close to San Marco square, and major stop for vaporetto to any where. Even with large cases you can walk from vaporetto to hotel. We would stay here again."

The hotel is down a narrow street - like many hotels in Venice, so I was a bit wary at first but after I settled in I felt safe.
