"Very friendly staff. The restaurant for dinner was very good but a bit expensive- well trained staff. The room was spacious. The heat is not turned on during this time of year. Sauna and steam access was a welcomed surprise. Close to train station."

"We’ve got Eiger view room on the 5th floor, oh my goodness, it was so beautiful. Room was big and everything was perfect. Location is perfect too, it is Just a minute walk from the train station, bus station is just opposite the hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). The rooms are clean and modern. A resort shuttle runs when buses are not running (at an additional cost). This all made for a relaxing stay. "

"The hotel location is fantastic, only 3 min away from the train station. We love the peace and quiet with fantastic scenic view of Switzerland mountains. We also really enjoyed their breakfast with high quality local foods as well as cleanliness. The only down side is the lack of AC in the room which we’re lucky enough to travel during the hottest time… However, we still highly recommend staying with Hotel Dakota (maybe not if the weather is 70 degree F)! "

"Our first impression of this hotel was not so good... a hotel built in the 1990s with a somewhat strange layout and in need of modernization. It’s definitely not a 4-* hotel. However, first impressions can be wrong. The spa in a separate building was quite amazing and the best after a day of skiing or hiking. Dinner on the top floor was very good and staff was very attentive. Not our first choice for a holiday but for a stopover this hotel was quite OK."

"Fantastic location - a 5 min flat walk to Brig Rail/Bus station and a slightly uphill walk to the town centre and Schlossalpenstock. Perfect for our plans for daily train trips (Brig has mainline connections across Switzerland and to Italy and is a station on the Glacier Express route from Zermatt to Andermatt, Chur and St Moritz). The dining areas offered a great selection of high quality options for breakfast and evening meals. All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful and are...
