Geoffrey, thank you for your review. My apologies if we seemed a bit abrupt at check-in. The chalet you were in is one of our oldest as is due for its annual maintenance, which is hard to fit in when we are so busy.

Hi Adele, thank you for your review. These are our cheapest and oldest cabins which do need a bit of work to be carried out on them. As the weather in Albany does not get overly hot an air conditioner is not needed as a fan is supplied.

Hi Steph, as it has been 5 years since your last visit you have no idea what maintenance or upgrades have been done. In the last 6 months we have totally refurbished 4 chalets. It is very hard to water lawns when we are fully booked but they were green before the influx of people. The toilet blocks were only appalling due to certain ethnic groups who don't know how to use a western toilet and was very difficult to keep on top of their mess. I could not find any mould in your shower recess as I inspected it as soon as your review came up and yes there is a water stain on the ceiling but it does not leak.

Robert, not sure about poor security as we have a Patrol come into the park twice every night, 7 days a week, and Managers live on site if any problems. You booked one of our oldest and smallest cabins available, hence the cheaper price compared to the others.

Hi Michael, thank you for your feedback and unfortunately there is not a lot we can do with the ensuite cabins due to their age and size and glad you enjoyed your stay with the free upgrade.

Ellen, thank you for review but not sure what Jimmy McBrides hut is. You were supplied with a full size dishcloth (folded in half), detergent and tea towel for doing dishes. Also unsure as to what electrical wires hang over the gas stove as the TV is plugged in behind the fridge. Management were certainly around during your stay as we work every day and available if required after hours and are usually in the office until 5pm.

Thank you for your review Dureene. I have passed your concerns to our maintenance department as we didn't know about the sink blocking, hotplate not working, hot water and water pressure. Unfortunately if we aren't told of any problems we don't know.

Geraint, thank you for your review. We only have 2 of the cabins that you booked and they are side by side at the front of the park near the office. Some beachfront villas were available but it is not what you booked or paid for. If you had come to the office asking for an upgrade we possibly could have helped you. As you stated, unfortunately with online bookings you don't know what you are getting and it's better to phone the park directly.

What you booked is exactly what you were given. The pictures may be a little older but the inside of the chalet is the same layout.

Thanks for your review Justin. Unfortunately we can't 'freshen up' while we are so busy, this can only be done in the winter months. Sorry about your kettle, but if you had of told us we would have replaced it for you.

Ingrid, yes your chalet is old but it isn't dirty. Unfortunately we can't please everyone when it comes to mattresses but they are not old. As far as I am aware there are curtains at every window, but I will check it out.

Unfortunately if we are not told something doesn't work we can't fix it. There was no sign of ants on pre-arrival inspection but we found evidence of them around the bin on your departure. We apologise for this.

Thank you for your review Simon, all feedback is greatly appreciated. Your original booking was for a 2 bedroom ensuite chalet which aren't as nice as the beachfront villas. We are constantly working on improving the park, but it just takes time. We have a BBQ area in the camp kitchen and a playground in the park and there is also one just outside the park near the beach.
