"It’s was a good stayed"

"The rooftop jacuzzi room is a 3-star at best. Shoddy patchwork on walls and ceilings. The room had a sofa with stains all over it.The toilet room is so small you can barely move. The staff was not very friendly at all, other than our butler and a couple of the cooks. Vendors are EVERYWHERE and the property does nothing to control their harassment and begging. The food was edible. I would compare it to the food I had on deployment in the Persian Gulf. IF there was queso, it was always cold. The guacamole was virtually non-existent and instead of a true pepperoni pizza, they cut up slices of hot dog and slap it on a pizza crust. Who does that? The steak restaurant is comparable to Outback at best. The sushi is horrible in texture and the Italian restaurant is nothing more than Stouffer’s frozen lasagna, if that. The Adults Only section is NOT Adults Only! We will not be returning to the Majestic or to the Dominican. Once you leave the resort, the place is filthy with people dumping trash wherever there is an opening and is completely run down. "

"As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I was very disappointed that this resort did not honor my Marriott status. The front desk told me they could not help because that was “a Marriott thing,” and even said they were “Royalton,” not Marriott. I was eventually directed to Carlos F., a Marriott ambassador, who tried to help but confirmed the resort was not going to honor the benefit. What made this especially frustrating is that I was not asking for much. I simply wanted access to the area my status should have provided, mainly the shaded pool area so I could watch my three kids play comfortably. Instead, it felt like the resort cared more about pushing its Diamond Club than taking care of guests. Other issues included hard beds, misleading descriptions online about beach access and hotel amenities, long waits for the tram, limited food/snack access near Building 25, and maintenance issues like water leaking through a public bathroom roof when it rained. The men’s bathroom by the buffet also seemed to be down constantly. There were a few positives: Carlos F. did try to assist, the buffet staff were pleasant, and the bellhops were helpful. But overall, the stay was disappointing and felt misleading. I expected much better service and transparency from a property connected to Marriott."

"The first room we were put in was run down. They changed us to a different room which was better but the refrigerator didn't work and the half the lights did not work. Overall the staff was extremely nice but I wish they knew a little bit more English. Maybe provide them with a basic English course to understand common inquiries. Also the Reilly service was all over the place. Half the time they would pass you up or tell you to go somewhere else to catch a different one. They should run on a schedule because you have no idea how long until the next one comes. The pool needs better music and it ducks or closes at 6 because most people get sun burnt being out in the middle of the day. Overall it was a great stay and I would book again I just think there is a bit of room for improvement. "

"From the beginning, there was a noticeable lack of customer service. Prior to arrival, I attempted to contact the hotel through Expedia with questions about my upcoming trip, but received no response or lack thereof information. Upon arrival, I was also informed that in order to have our rooms located next to each other, an additional payment was required—despite having already made this request in advance through Expedia. During our stay, the conditions of the room were unacceptable. We encountered centipedes and roaches, which is completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. Additionally, there was a period of time where we did not have access to water for part of the day. Housekeeping was also inconsistent—we repeatedly had to request room cleaning, even when the sign indicating service was clearly displayed. The overall experience at the resort felt heavily focused on upselling rather than guest satisfaction. There was a clear lack of amenities and activities, especially for a weekend stay, which made the environment feel underwhelming and not in line with what was advertised. One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay involved the misleading information provided at the time of booking. When we reserved our stay through Expedia, it was advertised that we would receive a $300 resort credit. However, upon arrival, we were directed to the guest services desk near our room, where we were then told that in order to receive this credit, we would need to atten"

"Swim up suotes don't have a beach view, but it was great, clean and the private-ish pool very convenient as it can be used till 9 pm while all other pools close at 6 pm."
