The Sanchaya

"I had a wonderful stay at The Sanchaya. The property is beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The team genuinely goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and incredibly well looked after. Two areas could be improved. The beautiful white-sand beach is unfortunately impacted by wastewater running towards it, which significantly detracts from the experience. The gym also feels more like a tick-box facility and would benefit from equipment that matches the high standard of the rest of the resort. Overall, an excellent and memorable stay with outstanding hospitality."

"The room was generally clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and warm. One of the aircons in the restaurant was not working. During breakfast, the aircons were not turned on and it was very warm. Had to request them to turn on 1 aircon. They should turn on all aircon as the weather is very hot, and make it more comfortable for guests."

"It was really quiet when we visited. Beach and pool therefore very quiet so it was amazing. The room was good, clean and nicely decorated. Just make sure you take everything you need of you're going to cook in the room. Staff were super friendly, the breakfast was good. Loved our stay. The view from our sea view room was lovely too."

"Beautiful hotel, ocean view infinity pool villa was stunning. So peaceful and quiet, no music playing, just calm. Good food in the restaurants although expensive as you would expect. Fabulous staff and beautiful beach."

"🌟Our family had an absolute blast at Natra Bintan! 🌟The resort is incredibly family-friendly, and the staff are wonderfully polite and helpful. We signed up for the kids' activities package at Treasure Bay—as hotel guests, we got a 20% discount, which is a fantastic deal since the vouchers can be used anytime during the stay. The dining was a highlight and there’s a great variety of delicious options. We highly recommend this resort and will definitely be back in the near future! 🏊♂️✨"

"Mutiara is not a typical beach resort—it’s a true eco-resort designed with tradition and sustainability in mind. It’s also actively run by the long-time owner—no corporate chains here. The most important things to be prepared for: no AC and no hot water. You sleep in lovely teak and rattan cottages with mosquito nets and plenty of fans. Which means this is a chance to experience what SE Asia was like 40-50 years ago (and of course the same way lots of locals live today). The food is terrific, prepared for you personally by very attentive staff. There’s kayaks, SUPs, and plenty to do—fishing, cooking classes, massages, etc. It’s all very affordable. Trust me, you won’t want to leave. This is one of those places you never forget."

"I booked the Family Suite room and it was amazing. The toilets were spotless and the breakfast buffet food was delicious, especially the eggs. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and greeted us whenever we met them. Overall, it was a great hotel experience and definitely deserves 5 stars!"
