If there is a near-luxury log cabin, Paradise Lodge & Bungalows would be close to satisfying my ideal log cabin stay. Our room was Fairview Suite, which faced the road connect Lake Louise town to Lake Louise. The office (a small cottage) is open only till 6pm in May, and check in went smoothly. They had free hot chocolate and hot apple cider, with cookies and muffins for guests while the cottage was open. The counter staff were very friendly and told us where to park our car. The hotel staff are very efficient and accommodating. The downtown area and IGA is just a walkable distance from the hotel. 24-hr water / coffee and tea counter near the lobby is a great idea.

Room is abit small but quiet and modern. Toiletries are quite basic. Housekeeping is reponsive to requests. Reception staff are friendly. Hot chocolate, tea and water for guests at common area was a nice touch. Great location near dining options, transportation, airport transfers, supermarket.

Absolutely epic! The most peaceful and charming spot in the Rockies, this historic lodge is the best place to stay for those looking to get away from it all. We did a cross country ski (rentals available) and found ourselves in a winter wonderland - listening to the snow fall. Lovely fireplace in the rooms. Excellent service and quality food in the restaurant. The main room in lodge is super cozy and perfect for a drink and family board games. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Brewster Mountain Lodge for 2 nights in May. They allowed us to check in early just before noon as our room was ready. Check in was a breeze and counter staff were efficient and helpful with suggestions on where to dine or go for a hike. The counter was also stocked with wrapped snacks, such as chocolate banana bread and sausage and cheese pastry. Parking is available in their underground carpark for $13 per night with unlimited entry/exit but note that parking in some lots might be...

The place is neat and clean. But it is near a railway crossing which the train will horn when it approaching the crossing and can be middle of the night.
