"All meals are eaten in the buffet. Even though there are 3 other restaurants on the property you have to make a reservation and those are limited based on how many nights you are staying. While making a reservation she will try to get you to go to their sister location and listen to an hour plus long presentation. The property and beach area is small. I liked the evening shows and activities throughout the day. We always seemed to be able to find a lounge chair by the pool or the beach. Our room was cleaned daily. You basically get what you pay for."

"Would say this is a good budget hotel when traveling with small kids under 10. The water park kept our 4 and 6 yo. entertained most of the days during our 7 day stay. The playroom is very limited and would not keep older kids entertained more than a couple of hours. This hotel lacks in entertainment for guests. We have stayed at many Cancun hotels that have shows, music etc. throughout the property/pools and not much here. They have a theater tha "

"The place is nice, clean but maybe need some updates. The elevators runs slow and weird. If u call for elevator from main floor to go up, somehow it takes you all the way down first before moving up. The staff are cool, only took 1 star out coz we checked in early which is not their fault but we kept being given false hope on early check in. Also, they need to update the restaurants. Marcopolo seem kind of pretentious coz there’s an expected dress code and restaurant’s vibe is like a steak house but staff either didn’t memorize the menu before opening or there’s just a language barrier. Also same restaurant, some menu description doesn’t match at all with the dish."

"I’ve been to Cancun at least 10x and this is the by far the worst resort I have ever stayed in. At first glance this place looks great, ocean views and modern facilities, but once you get here, you realize you’ve been tricked. Beach: Looking to swim in the ocean water? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. The water is covered in seaweed and is filthy brown. The pictures are extremely misleading. Pool: Want a nice pool since you can’t swim in the ocean? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. The pool looks beautiful and has potential, but the way they have it set up completely messes up the experience. Most of the pool is blocked off for pool activities so the general public can’t access it. The area you get to swim in goes no deeper than 1-2 feet and is filled with people because it’s a small section. The activities are reservation only and it’s impossible to get one. Food: Want good food and access to the restaurants? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. It is literally impossible to get a reservation at the restaurants. I was here for 5 days and could not get a reservation at any point. You are forced to eat at the buffet, and in most resorts, this would be a minor trade off, but here it isn’t. The buffet is lacking variety and quality. And you are stuck waiting on line for 20-45 minutes just to eat there at all times. Relaxation: Want to relax on vacation and enjoy the nice weather in peace? Sorry, this resort isn’t for you. Loudest place alive and you will get a headache. "

"I did not get an uprade even if i wanted to pay for it and i knew for a fact that the hotel is not full amenities are poor one super small bottle of body lotion for a 4 day stay the pool and beach service staff is scant and the service is terrible the buffet breakfast is very limited and a lot of money for what is offered"

"There are so many mixed reviews on this property so I was apprehensive upon arrival but pleasantly surprised. The resort is beautiful - the location is as well. The staff are really really great (shout out to our bellman Oscar and our chambermaid Fernando), though we found in the buffet the service was better on the patio (shoutout to Antonio & Pedro) as the service inside was almost non-existent. We were happy with the food - though we aren't overly picky, definitely enjoyed the poolside lunch shack every day as it was food the kids love (burgers and fries) and we only ever ate in the buffet for breakfast and dinner but always found lots of options. The Kids Paradise we used only once, but the kids were safe and happy there. :-) We enjoyed the nightly shows in the theatre - especially the Michael Jackson and Disney Trivia ones. The variety in pools was a huge hit for our entire family and though there is no reservation system for the loungers we were always able to get at least one (people are crazy and would get up in the middle of the night to reserve them with their personal items). The hotel itself is clean and you see the staff working very hard around the clock to keep things running smoothly - the rooms are nice, though ours definitely needed some maintenance but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Overall - we would give this hotel 4.5/5 :-) Absolutely would come back! "
