"The room was clean and welcoming. Initially I didnโ€™t see that my checking in email was spammed and was sent well in good time before my check in time , because of that I contacted the staff and they helped me beyond the expectation they were going on an extra mile of securing accommodation elsewhere and were pledging that I should not be stranded and without anywhere to put up for the night and for my stay. I felt a family treatment rather than a client. The place was really a family place or...

"Property was really central to grocery stores and the riverside park. Easy to walk to so many areas of Llangollen. The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"The Wild Pheasant hotel is in an attractive building set well back from the road. It has ample parking. Our room was very quiet. It had very comfortable beds and a great shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent and our continental breakfast was adequate. The menu for a cooked breakfast was very ample. All the staff we met we're delightful, chatty and helpful"

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good
"Nice hotel in good location. Staff very good and looked after my dog while I got my breakfast (buffet). Was given room on ground floor which was helpful for taking my dog in and out. Now, unfortunately, the negativesโ€ฆ signs of lack of dusting in bedroom. Outside of windows looked like they hadnโ€™t been cleaned in months. Breakfast pricey in double figures and some things overcooked (sausages for example were tough). However, evening meals have no cause for complaint and staff pleasant and efficient. Despite negative points above, would stay at this hotel again on a future visit to Llandudno"

"Nice place to stay. Great for individual travellers, couples and families. Breakfast was good as was dinner. The spa was decent. Not overcrowded at all with indoor and outdoor options. Village Hotel St David's, Nr Chester

8/10 Good
"The hotel was great. The family room was spacious and more than suitable for a family of 4. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were easy to access and a nice activity for the family ( children only able to access pool but the rest were a nice respite for mum.) The children were also excited to receive a certificate from the staff for good swimming. There is a Starbucks on site which is handy during a busy day. The bar/restaraunt was convenient but a bit pricey for pub grub, but there are other options in the surrounding are suitable for families. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good choice of breakfast and staff were cheerfull and helpful. We had a good stay."
