"The grass across the parking lot was so essential. I checked out early, put my key on the table before I left. I also shared a pair of shoes I was gifted from communities members. I pray that my early departure did not incur any additional fees and I am so grateful for the bath tub. 10/10 staff, 5/5 Island View Motel (-: thanks!"

"Very nice hotel, the bathroom had a big tub but the water had no pressure. So someone with long thick hair took forever to shower. If u wanted to bath it would take forever for the tub to fill. Other then that it was a great stay. I didn't use any of the places around, but they all sounded fun"

"Room is pretty small size with king size bed and bathroom is small and tight for a tall person or large person. I’m petite size but find it tight(bathroom). Carpet needs upgrading too old. Swimming pool and hot tub is under construction as per website didn’t say currently under construction. This is the reason why I booked to stay for 2 nights. $400 I would say not worth it. Should have stayed elsewhere down the road which is far more better. Breakfast mediocre! Lucky we only stayed 2 nights. Stayed other hotel along the river for another night paid $125 w/ bigger or spacious living room and kitchen. Hotel is right by the ocean but no access through it. We have to drive to spot where we can stroll along the shore some hotels has easy access to the river but, also too rocky to walk along the shore. Saratoga sandy beach and Meracle beach is great for walking,fine sand, highly recommended!"

"It was ok I guess had a planned power outage for a day and didn’t tell anyone was a bit of a hassle didn’t offer refund for one day. Toilet seat was falling off reported it the first day nothing done for the remaining 5 days we stayed there. Floor had some sagging laminate that was somewhat of a risk for cutting your feet informed them first day nothing done about it. Staff ok not too much interaction with them place needs work. Should have been at least offered refund for one day of no electricity as they knew it was going to be out for the day they where informed by hydro well before hand. Wouldn’t stay there again because of hydro problem who knows if there are any other surprises they may have for their guests. We definitely didn’t like Being charged for a room without electricity."
