"The room is a bit on the small side. The heating/cooling unit doesn't work properly so expect to be either too hot or too cold. No staff is around after 5 so if you need something you are on your own. To me the bed was comfortable as it is soft and I am a side sleeper. The pillows are on the flat side and need to be replaced. The shower head is also needing repair or replacing. Little details like this are important to truely make this place Bliss."

"The room was clean. For a kitchenette the room only has a hotplate for cooking and has everything else you need for amenities. The staff were all excellent and helped you with everything you needed. The property is so centrally located you can walk to so many shops, restaurants and a bowling alley. Minutes from the ferry!"

"The staff was great! They have been very accommodating about me having my 81-year-old dad over for visits. He uses a walker, and we were given a level-entry room with a great view of the ocean! I've been coming back to this place for a year now. They have a BBQ for the guests!"

"Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site."
