"Our stay at Bliss was nothing short of spectacular, the staff there are INCREDIBLY kind and caring. You really feel like you are being hosted by family when you stay here. "Great stay for family of seven. Plenty of bathrooms. Close to all the action. We had a van, but the bus stop is super close and if you can brave the cold and the hill you could walk everywhere. Loved having plenty of bathrooms and plenty of seating for family to all sit together to eat or to relax in the lounge. Would definitely stay again. "

"The townhome was nice. Very clean and the reception desk & staff were extremely helpful & very timely when we called. Spacious home, heated floors very cozy. The shuttle service was good however being that it’s a little out of the city it would be more convenient to have a rental car. Wonderful & relaxing family holiday. The kitchen was also well equipped for cooking and staying in. "

"Pros: The chalet and surrounding area were better than advertised. Right next to the ski lift and quite comfortable. Cons: Customer service was overwhelmed and made mistakes. Most frustrating was arriving at midnight to find ourselves unable to get into our room even after confirming twice the entry instructions the day prior. After 24 hours of travel, having to wait outside on a cold night until someone let us in was not fun. "

Unfortunately the breakfast rooms were at least 500 metres away, I was in the South wing and all the breakfast places were in the North wing. Because the hotel is so huge with many different levels and many special areas it was initially difficult to actually find the breakfast rooms. "This property would be good for self drive definitely, but not advisable if u are taking public transport. It is 2KM from the bus terminal. The host provided a really powerful heating panel which we also used to dry all our clothes and was hot and crisp after 10 hours. Host was very kind and friendly. Lake Toya was raining the two days we were there so we checked out after 1 day unfortunately. "

"True ski in ski out property! Ski lifts right outside hotel door. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 6 nights. In room washing machine was super helpful since we were traveling with kids. Close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel provided transport from hotel to Hirafu Welcome center which is where our shuttle bus from Chitose Airport dropped us off at."

"A bit outside of the center of Grand Hirafu village but easily walkable. You have to go uphill a bit to get to the resort. The property itself is beautiful. Ideal for 6 or 7 guests (3 couples). Full kitchen but without salt/oil/spices so brine no your own if you plan to cook. Tsubara Tsubara right next door if you want amazing Japanese curry. Staff drive us back to the Chitose bus pickup on checkout. Would stay again if traveling with a small group. "

"We had a fantastic stay at The Chatrium in our 1 bed apartment. The staff were super helpful when needed and the shuttle service to the Gondola and Dot Base was fantastic. The driver took our ski's and poles from us each time securing them on the bus. The bar and restaurants in the hotel were also greaz and convenient. "Communication with Banff was very good. Room was everything I could have expected, having our own bathroom and bath was a bonus. My only qualm is that the beds were a bit old and that the couch in the room just took up a lot of space when trying to sort out our massive ski bags… overall very happy with the stay!"
