"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout.     Enryakuji is the perfect place where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto and connect with nature. We took the cable car up Mount Hieizan and enjoyed a nice, leisurely walk through the woods to reach Enryakuji's main buildings. We then took the local bus back to Kyoto's main station. It's an especially picturesque place during peak foliage.
