The pleasant ascent to the top, through endless pine trees, will allow you to claim you have passed through the geographical centre of the Iberian Peninsula.

While you explore the centre, admire the Church of La Magdalena, built between the 16th and 18th centuries and considered the top examples of Madrid’s Renaissance architecture. A short distance away you’ll find Hospitalillo de San José, with its pretty cloister, which has left its past as a hospital behind to become a cultural centre.
