Stayed here for 1 night. Was a memorable stay because service and charm of this ryokan was top notch. Onsen was relaxing as the men's side had 4 baths inside and 2 outside overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Breakfast and dinner served were really good traditional Japanese cuisine (miso soup, fresh fish, lean cuts of meats, tempura, etc.). Location is isolated and a bit far from train station (For foreigners using their JR Rail Pass, Odwara is the closest JR station). As a recommendation, coming from any train station, I suggest taking a taxi cab. From Odwara station, taxi took about 20 minutes and cost around 3000 yen ($25 USD, at the time of this review). The hotel is located on a hill, which is not good if you are carrying a lot of luggage. Overall, I would come back to relax and take in a traditional ryokan and onsen.
