" What is ridiculous is that everybody in the neatby apartment on the hill can see straight through the huge bathroom window when you're taking a shower, and there is no way to prevent it What is worse is that you may not even pay attention to that fact so that women can essentially be molested visually without even knowing it Normally, Peeking through a window at somebody who is unclothe would be a very serios crime; this hotel encourages it -- there is no warning or way for people to know, if they're not paying attention, or at night, that they are being viewed in the nude at leisure by anybody standing near their window in those apartments above. "

The location is near the Ipanema beach, safer than Copacabana, the rooms and facilities are nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We reserved the 6 hour city/Cristo tour with them which was a good choice. We also enjoyed the spa for massages which were also very nice. "
