This hotel has a great view of the mountains from the balcony. The room is on the small side but everything worked. No USB ports. Bathroom shower glass is small so it’s easy to get the bathroom floor quite wet. There is no toilet paper holder so the roll just sits on the toilet tank which got a bit wet. Free parking across the street. Staff is helpful. Buffet breakfast is inexpensive and very ordinary.

Excellent hospitality. Great restaurant recommendation. Varied breakfast selections despite there only being 2 guests at the hotel since it was off season. Facilities are somewhat dated but clean and functional.

People in this hotel try to make your stay as much comfortable as possible. It is quite old hotel. But the treatment you get... you feel that people care about you. Overall very good value for money, Super helpful and friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast for this price,

Very centrally located, noise from the main avenue, which however, stops late in night, very clean and recently renovated, warm atmosphere for very nice stay, excellent staff behavior and communication. Surely, I will visit it again!

Great Hotel at a Great Price.
Love this hotel - extended our stay twice just because we enjoyed staying here so much. Comfortable beds, great view, good location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast... and a great price.

Worth visiting Meteora
Very nice small hotel on Main Street. GPS did not accurately locate by address but locals helpful. Free parking is block away but easy walk. Hotel breakfast very good and there is an exceptional Greek restaurant less than 100m. Shopping in immediate walking area. Meteora visible and easy, short drive. Staff very helpful with directions. Only problem was getting there thru snow storm in mountains. Snow plows kept roads open but recommend checking weather for when to visit. Driving can be harrowing when snowing but Meteora worth seeing.

Small hotel, kind helpful staff, somewhat limited facilities/amenities. The staff here were so kind. When I checked in, the front desk person asked if I wanted any info about the area, and then took 10 minutes telling me where the bus route went, what time each monastery was open until, how I could get back (bus vs hike), sights to potentially see along these routes, local food options and then gave me the map he had labeled with all this info. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Obviously I knew this wasn't a luxury resort when I booked it, so the sheets and towel were a little itchy/rough, but everything was clean, including the bathroom. The breakfast spread was nice. Gave the opportunity to experience some local flavor before heading out for a day of exploring.

Room with a monestary view!
Due to an one day train strike in Greece we had to make a last minute reservation at Alexiou hotel in Kalambaka. Room was decent size and it had an incredible view of a monestary in Metorea. $52 USD per night. We stayed a couple other night in town and wished we did not already have reservations elsewhere in town. The also kept our bags for us after we checked out while on a tour.

Good Choice in Kalambaka
One of the warmest, kindest greetings I have ever received from a hotel. The staff was great and provided thorough information about the area. Very comfortable room with a balcony and a good breakfast.

Too many things backwards
It was not a terrible stay, but 1) The card that turns the lights on was on the ring with the key that locks the door, so we had to use the flashlight to lock the door and then use the card to turn on the lights. 2) Bathroom lights were on the wall opposite to the sink. Good luck shaving in the dark. The triple room was a little small for three people, the safe did not work, bath drain plug was missing, and the bed covers felt like they are made from non-breathable material. Check-in was bumpy as reception could not retrieve my fresh Expedia booking. Breakfast buffet was good.

Concerning the key and the card; the door can only be opened from the outside with a key, so it is not necessary to lock your door from the inside. The bathroom has a light with two lamps, and we regret to hear that these lights were not enough for you. The key of the safe box can be requested from the reception. Your feedback will be used to perfect our service wherever we can and we are therefore grateful. We do truly hope you wil visit us again in the near future.

Highly Recommended!!!
Very friendly hotel staff! When I reached the hotel, I was immediately greeted by the hotel staff. He gave me an orientation of the entire area, including helping me to plan for my 3 days itinerary to make the best out of my time in Kalambaka, Meteora. The hotel is also very near the train station and public bus stop to the monasteries. Highly recommended!!!
