"Not a really user-friendly tap in the toilet. 1 pillow by default, but you can request for more. No housekeeping for 3 nights or below (only every 4th day). The room gets bright by 5+ (sun rises) even with curtains drawn. Location is within 7mins walk from Matsumoto station and decent breakfast buffet. "

"Decent place but I would probably not stay here again. The mattress felt like a box spring and was very hard, the walls were stained and the wallpaper was ripping in some areas, the walls were thin so you can easily here rooms beside you talking, on top of the fridge and desk there was dust and it looked like that hadn’t been wiped down in a while and my rooms floor had a black spot stains. I don’t think it was worth the price and I would rather spend a little more next time to get a better place to stay. It is close to family mart, the Train Station, Sekicho Park, and many restaurants! The staff were very nice, even though there was a language barrier they were patient with me and helped me out a lot!"

"Great staff! Friendly and very helpful. Food (in the restaurant) was awesome! The “Western” style dinner in particular … i know you’re in Japan, but the chef is great… ya gotta try while you’re there. Castle is nice. Not a lot to do in Matsumoto, but walkable. Location of Hotel is good (bread place around the corner and castle is vey close). Note: the hotel itself is not new, but it is clean."
