"We arrived and our room hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests. Bed was made but there were stains and debris in the sheets. No towels, no toilet paper. Rubbish on the sink and bin was full. Rubbish and hair on the floor. We asked for the room to be cleaned, 3 hours later still not cleaned at 8pm. We approached the owner who apologised and said his housekeepers “keep running away”. I asked for new sheets, towels and toilet paper so we could clean it ourselves. He gave us sheets that were mouldy, stained and had bugs in them. We advised him we would check out in the morning and request a refund for the remaining 3 nights we were due to stay. He was apologetic. The next morning the owner was no where to be seen and one man at reception didn’t speak English very well. The owner doesn’t respond to hotels.com at all. They also have an issue with overbooking from the online system, some people arrived and didn’t have a room. So I would highly recommend NOT staying here "

"This is a beautiful resort right on the beach. All staff greet you with a smile and are happy to help. Choice of two large pools one with swim bar. The Main Street with restaurants and bars a few minutes walk, however, the food in the hotel is 10 times better and very reasonably priced. "

"I had a terrible experience in this hotel. The condition was very poor that I had to leave the property immediately after receiving the keys. The room was not clean and there were many broken pieces and holes in the room, thus,the insulation wasn’t good. Even though there is an AC inside but due to the poor insulation the room felt very hot. The washroom wasn't clean as well,as I saw several insects including a big lizard. The shower was broken too. There were dust here and there. The condition was so poor that I decided to leave the property and booked another hotel immediately. Even though I stayed there only for half an hour or so they charged me for whole 3 days. While Hotel.com reached out to them regarding the refund they declined the refund request. Overall,I felt like this is far away from what they described in their property description ; so, I would never recommend anyone to book this place."

"Big and comfortable rooms. Amazing amenities (pool, beachfront, spa, cafes). The location was also perfect, you have absolutely everything close by but it is still very tranquil and private. But the best of all was the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and eager to help you enjoy your holidays. We would definitely return."

"Saw the high rating and decided to change my hotel at the eleventh hour. Location was perfect, but it is definitely only a 2* hotel. Pool was simply an enlarged bath tub. Stairs to room. Shower had extremely low water pressure, which was later adjusted. Breakfast starts at 7.30am but at 7.45am it was still closed. Receptionist said she had no idea what time it will open. I paid about US$80 after 30% discount. Not worth. It is just a mere motel. Rooms were spacious. The only pros about this motel is Aziman, the manager. He has been very helpful and thoughtful. He passed me a towel to use for my activities. I dare not take any towels out of the room because there is a message in the room that states the cost of cleaning the towel is RM80, face towel is RM50 etc. Frankly, for that price, I can buy a few new towels. Besides, upon check in, the duvet covers were not even washed after the previous guests checked out. Hygiene is definitely missing. And the flushing system stinks. Not sure if it applies to all hotels in the area because there is a bad sewage odour even at the toilets in the malls. "
