A nice hotel, although very all-inclusive resort feel. Lots of steps. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special! Very busy and struggled to get a sunbed.

Lovely rooms (loved the rocking chairs on balcony) and good pools. Staff all very friendly, helpful and made you feel special. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice, all very fresh. Spa was good and reasonably priced. Quite hilly and lots of steps around hotel. Good location if you don't want to be right in the centre but still walkable distance to everything.

I really loved my stay at Mandarava. This perspective/review comes from a woman who stayed there alone for some me time. I disclose that because the staff there were so accommodating to my needs. They helped booked taxis for me to go outside of the resort and to the hotel, billing it all to my room. They accommodated a take out/room service order from one of their formal dinner restaurants for me. The front office allowed me to extend my check by about 7 hours (with a reasonable additional charge). All the staff there are so helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are also so beautiful. I had a suite with a wrap around balcony with a view of the ocean and mountains. It’s too hot to walk to the main strip but you can if you are feeling brave enough, they also supply you with umbrellas during your stay. They free transportation to Karon beach (to and from) about 5-6 times a day. They also have free events you can join at the resort. And I would suggest to add the breakfast. Their buffet breakfast was great. Very happy and would recommend to everyone.
