The first day of arrival there were no towels in bathroom. Called and they brought two hand towels, two bath towels, no face towels. The quality of the towels left a lot to be desired. The whole four days of our stay there was a towel issue, missing towels we never got face cloths at all. Took two beach towels provided in room with nice big beachbag but the towels were spotted with something Overall room was clean but room service was laughable. They have a note that toom service providedwill be provided within 30 minutes of ordering. We were so exhausted forst nite we ordered in. It too 1 and a half hours to get our food. The food was good except for ham and cheese sandwitch. We had to call room service bac to get them to remove leftovers. Maid service did not provide that seevice. Novotel is a chain and this was my first experience with this chain. After staying at two Marriotts and a small private hotel Novotel does not compare. Well this was my first experience and this hotel was in Patong.
