"The hotel is ideally located, just outside Pontocho Alley and within easy reach of shopping, restaurants and Nishiki Market. It is modern, with spacious, comfortable rooms – a welcome change from the smaller rooms we experienced in Tokyo. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection of both Japanese and Western options. Kyoto Station is around 15 minutes away by metro or a short taxi ride. Overall, a great base for exploring Kyoto!"

"Excellent Hotel – Highly Recommended! The hotel is impeccable and ideally located, just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Central Station, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city's main attractions as well as nearby destinations such as Osaka and Nara. Everything feels brand new, including the rooms, which are spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious, even in the more economical categories. The bathroom is completely modern and newly renovated. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is excellent. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Perhaps the view from the economy rooms, which face the back of the building, is not the most impressive, but that is a very minor detail and perfectly acceptable. If I return to Kyoto, I would definitely stay at the same hotel again. Excellent in every respect!"

"Not sure what to expect, but the hotel was wonderful. It’s connected to the station, but slightly set apart, so there is not much station traffic, only hotel guests. All or most of the rooms have outside views. The room on the Executive Floor is beautiful and spacious. Some of the rooms have a good view of Kyoto Tower. The staff was very polite and attentive. We requested an ironing board and it was delivered quickly (within 1/2 hour). The breakfast at Le Temps (2nd floor) is excellent and delicious, and comparable to that at high end hotels. It has a good mix of Japanese and Western breakfast, a good dessert area, and a chef cooking omelettes and eggs to order. It’s also very convenient, and about an easy 5 minute walk to the Shinkansen platforms."

"An absolutely wonderful place to stay! Everything was perfect, from the warm hospitality to the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You can really feel the care and attention put into making guests feel at home. We had such a lovely experience and honestly didn't want to leave! Definitely a place worth coming back to. We would love to stay here again on our next visit!"
