George Street Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location for a very reasonably priced hotel right in the centre of Oxford just 2 mins from Carfax. The room was excellent and I hear that there even better rooms at the top of the property - presumably for an additional cost. No restaurant but an arrangement with the one next door for a reduction of their charges."

"Great location,..bus stop near by made it easy to get into the centre of Oxford. Room was clean and bed was comfortable Staff were super helpful Would definitely, stay again when next in Oxford., although, would request a room overlooking the garden at the back of the property. We had a room at the front of the property overlooking a busy road, which is noisy if you need to open the window."

The Buttery Hotel

The Buttery Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"If you have no mobility issues (there are many steps), but even then, I made it with assistance of darling staff, and my partner. The Buttery is on Broad St pedestrian street, surrounded by great restaurants and a super art supply shop. Real Italian 3 doors down, and next-door Greek breakfasts accept 10% for Buttery patrons. Ashmolean and Randolph Hotel just a couple of minutes and a Tesco as well. Debenhams on the corner. Perfect!"

"Car parking extremely limited and tight spaces. Plus it’s in the congestion charging zone which should have been highlighted. Staff didn’t stow bags securely before check in. Nice rooms, clean and good amenities."

St. Margaret's Hotel

St. Margaret's Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"A really nice place to stay with a good morning breakfast and onsite parking. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, you may wish to request a room on the ground floor or perhaps the next floor up. My wife is 76 and I am 78 and we found it difficult to carry our heavy suitcases up to the top floor especially as you need to negotiate a tight corner in the staircase. This is a really nice place to stay and it has a nice backyard with seating areas."
