"The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bed was firm with good, comfortable pillows. We also really appreciated how nice and quiet the room was, which is something we always look for in a hotel. Unfortunately, the condition of the hallways was a completely different story. The carpets looked extremely dirty and appeared as though they hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. It was disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel associated with a prestige hotel group. The overall standards really need to be higher. I also feel that the pictures shown on Expedia don’t accurately reflect the current condition of the property. Based on the photos, we expected something quite different. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, so I can’t comment on those facilities. We did eat at the restaurant. It was okay, but nothing particularly special. The staff, however, were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which we appreciated. Overall, the room itself was pleasant and quiet, but the condition of the common areas really took away from the experience."
