"I loved this hotel! The service was amazing, probably the best I have ever had anywhere and I am well traveled. Upon arrival, Ms. Rose greeted us kindly and we were welcomed with a nice welcome drink. What I loved the best is the service from every staff member. They addressed us by our names, we were surprised that everyone remembered and knew our names. We ate breakfast that was included at the restaurant every morning and Mr. Danny and his staff was very welcoming every day. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar that had a great view of the city. And we also used the spa services for nice massages. Our room was very nice and all of the facilities around the hotel was nice. When in Hanoi, we will definitely stay here again and feel like we even made some friends with the staff. Thank you Hotel du Lac Signature for providing us excellent service!"

"A top choice for good value on the west side outside the tourist mecca because it's located on a lake and close to the Kim Ma artery. Lake walk takes around half an hour. Once dark, it's very quiet and a few are fishing. An archeological site is marked with some info. Down side is although there are a few places to eat there are few options, though the hotel has a small restaurant and there are a couple of grocery outlets near the Azuyama. This choice was perfect for our purposes - to experience a non-touristy area. Metro not close and not completed to Kim Ma as yet, though we did walk to the current terminus station and took the metro to National University, a bustling and posh area."

"I arrived at the hotel close to midnight. While the check-in process was quick, the room I was assigned was in very poor condition, it appeared dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor, similar to a humid, sweaty smell. The breakfast was also disappointing, as the food tasted artificial and of low quality. I have stayed at this hotel before in 2025, but unfortunately, my experience this time was extremely disappointing. The standard check-out time was noon, and I had a work meeting scheduled at 1:00 PM. I needed a quiet environment to take the call, so I asked the front desk if a one-hour late check-out would be possible. My request was declined, as I was told another guest would be checking into the room. However, I understand that the official check-in time is not until 2:00 PM, which made the refusal somewhat unreasonable. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not choose to stay at this property again."
