Convenient, friendly, value for money and clean resort

The hotel is situated on a fantastic private beach. The hotel service is one of the best we have exerienced, friendly, competent professional and helpful. The rooms are spacious and compfortable, situated a little way up the mountain from the beach.

Stayed at the Kutai room (number 1) and it was perfect size for couple (also includes a single bed too for a young child). The room is absolutely gorgeous and clean! You have to take off your shoes inside but this is what I usually do at home so it was not a problem. It is beautifully decorated and even has airconditioning! Love the rustic feel of the place. Sadly got bitten by mosquitoes the whole night despite the mosquito net and and AC turned on. Another minor issue is that the toilet floor...

In all my travels around the world for years, this is the first hotel that i have experienced all the staff giving warm, hospitable smiles and greetings whenever you walk by them, irregardless of what their job is or they are doing. From the pick up at the airport to the time that we left, I really enjoyed the excellent service, facilities and hospitality in this classy beach resort hotel.

It is a case of “if it’s reasonable” the staff will get it done! Examples: 1) We booked an early Mangrove Tour, so breakfast would be before opening hours. No problems - juice, bread and fruits were delivered to be stored In our room fridge. Main breakfast meals delivered early before the tour! 2) Wife & friends interested in the herbs in the garden. We just spent 8 nights here over the xmas break. It's a fabulous hotel with great facilities. We particularly loved the beach view we had from our room balcony, where we chilled most evenings pre dinner. The location is great, there is an extensive breakfast buffet & the staff are super helpful & friendly. Highly recommend.

Staff are all friendly.. Place is clean & accommodative. Love the ambience.. the only thing for myself is the tv channel doesnt have much movie channels like eg HBO & all.. Spa quite expensive.. The place is very privacy and quiet. Perhaps breakfast served can be earlier perhaps at 7.30am. Overall this place is highly recommended. Will definitely come back again.

One of the best Hotel that I have stayed in langkawi. I won't mind staying in the same hotel for my next visit. One major reason of the excellent review is because it is brand new. Hotel exterior looks like the only store in the neighborhood however after exploring a little, you can find more stuff nearby. Clean room. Good view. Quiet. Good service

We had a great stay at the Pelangi. It was perfect for our family and young baby. She especially loved the splash pool and water slides which were perfect for children of all ages. The grounds are nicely laid out and relaxing. The service staff was extremely accommodating and made us feel very well taken care of. Would definitely return again in future.

This property is really one of its kind, nothing commercialised about it. My mom really enjoyed the scenery and how peaceful it is here, it’s great for a relaxing vacation to just take your mind off things back home. It is the definition of slow living here, and learning to appreciate and be in tune with the beautiful surroundings and unique heritage houses. Bonus point being that there are MANY estate cats here who are very friendly and happy to lounge with us in our room everyday. Loved it...
