This is a lovely resort. Very big, but shuttles running all day long. It classes itself as a 5 star, but I disagree. A 4 star at best. This is because the chalets are tired looking and our bathroom condition was not what we expected. The sink was not acceptable, the shower needs attention and new sealants. Some areas of our balcony had loose wood and again have been bodged up continually.
The communal areas are spotless, from the lobby, reception, toilets, pool etc. The chalet beds are clean, lovely beds and linen. The staff and service is second to none. A massive credit to Berjaya and the staff are your biggest asset. Food was ok in the buffet with plenty of choice. The brasserie was very good. We didn't try the other places, but heard good reviews about the Thia restaurant. We wouldn't go back until the chalets have been upgraded, as this is a special place, and it would be 5 star+ once the chalets are to standard. The beach area and gardens are loving looked after.
