The many rooms make it easy to stay with family. The dining table was nice for playing cards. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a nice view of the river from the top floor. There is no air conditioning, so beware depending on what time of year you come. The street noise was loud through the night as...

"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."
