Snowflower Guesthouse

"The management and staff at Snowflower Guesthouse are extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. Being polite and courteous goes a long way, and the friendly atmosphere here really reflects that. You may need to use a translator to communicate at times, but personally, I felt that this added to the authenticity of staying at a Korean guesthouse. It felt like a genuine experience rather than a typical mainstream hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean experience, I would highly recommend Snowflower Guesthouse. It is extremely clean and very reasonably priced, especially considering its central location in Seoul. The rooms are small, but you have everything you need. The location also makes it a great base if you want to go sightseeing or simply need somewhere comfortable to work. One thing to keep in mind is that this isn’t a lively, mainstream hotel environment. If you’re looking for a busy atmosphere with lots of hotel facilities and activity, I’d suggest looking at a larger hotel. But if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, affordable, clean, and with a genuinely Korean environment, Snowflower Guesthouse is a fantastic choice. I’ve really enjoyed my stay and hope to return again if possible. 🇰🇷"

"You have to book your time for the pool, which was odd. There’s no spa. The gym is small and there’s no real outdoor space and the room were pretty compact. However the staff was super friendly and helpful and I would recommend recommended more for couples or individuals."

"We had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Every staff member we met was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options that everyone in our family enjoyed. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!"

"We had a great stay at the Travelodge Dongdaemun! The location is ideal—it’s centrally situated, so you’re never far from the Dongdaemun Market, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and all the downtown sights. Plus, being close to several subway lines made getting anywhere in Seoul super easy. The room was basic, but it was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After being outside in the heat and humidity all day, coming back to a room with great, individually controlled air conditioning was a lifesaver for a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff was also very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you want a clean, convenient base for exploring Seoul!"
