Room is clean and spacious. Kitchen is clean, washer and dryer is useful. Eateries nearby is good too.

Location of the hotel is convenient; it is very near to the various walks. Clean and spacious room. Good amenities provided. We enjoyed our stay!

We arrived on a rainy afternoon and the room was pre-heated by the hotel, a lovely touch. We had a family room for 4 that is spacious and comfortable. Although the room looks very old, everything is well maintained and very clean. They serve some nice food in their restaurant too. A great place to stay in the small town!

I stayed in Woolmers Estate on the first and last day of my trip to Tasmania, which was close to Launceston Airport. On the last day of my stay in Woolmers Estate, there was a market on site, so it is interesting to look at the different wares brought by various vendors. Overall a great experience with a comfortable stay.

Stayed at the windarra suite- Room was great and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was simple but really good as well. Would recommend and definitely would revisit!

All food are within 10-15mins walk. Great location.

What a delightful place! Full of interesting history, this beautiful Inn also boasted a lovely restaurant that served beautifully cooked food. We loved our Tassie scallops. The guest room was small but we ended up spending a lot of our time outside in the garden anyway. The friendly lady of the house gave us good travel advice and briefed us on local history. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant check in experience as we weren’t sure if they allow for early check in. The staff who received us (a lady from Finland) was very courteous. We had a free upgrade of room. Overall, the room condition was excellent, cleaned and new. For those who pass through Strahan, go for this hotel and you will never regret it.

The host is very friendly and helpful and provide us with the additional information on cradle mountain. The house we got were great and there is heating mat under the bed. The facilities were great too and we enjoyed out stay there. We were able to see wild animals in the late evening around the hotel and its such a lovely scene. We will definitely stay here again when we came back to visit Tasmania and cradle mountain.

Is a simple motel and we love it. There is a back door that lead to an open garden. We enjoy sitting outside having our food. The staff are friendly and helpful. It does have a paid laundry on one of the compound.

Historic building - old mill. Great location to Cataract Gorge. And good walking distance to restaurants and shops.

chose this place as a rest stop after driving form hobart. bed is comfy. it has a heating pad! loved it. close to woolsworth and subway. like 3 mins drive away. the wifi is perfect.
