"The Hampton Inn in Salinas is a clean hotel, and there arenโt a lot of options in Salinas. Itโs not in a great neighborhood, so Iโd definitely recommend parking underneath the building (which is secured)."

"We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey as part of a road-trip up the coast. We were very happy with it and would recommend it. The only downside was that they did not have free parking and it was often hard to find a parking space at night close to our room."

"so I had a reservation, when I arrived there was a sign saying no vacancy, there was no body at the reception, looking thro the window you could see a mess, there were people out of their rooms drinking and being loud, such a get place"

"for $200 I would have expected a box of kleenex! Nope, the only "extras" were two tiny slivers of soap. Bathroom was not clean, moldy shower, and the roughest towels I have EVER seen!!"

I stayed here for my anniversary and the staff was amazing decorating our room. The room was clean and we had complimentary wine upon arrival and also a guide bag for our toddler which he loved. The room that I booked was the city view king bed, very spacious in size and the bathroom was clean and up to date. Five Star service!
The rooftop at schooners was also very delicious. I would recommend for a nice get away or special occasion, the location is near everything.
