Check in was smooth. Was a pleasant surprise that the staff helped to roll out the futon beds for us when we came back. Age of the room was a bit old though. Overall not too bad.

The hotel is rather dilapidated, there is no air-conditioning in the lobby, there are not many buffet options for dinner and the food is average!

I have never ever seen such a terrible hotel.All the furniture and equipment are too old, dirty and not hygiene I was wondering how come the situation being kept like this even with the actual coronavirus pandemic

Classic ryokan don’t expect much from the dinner
It’s a good old onsen ryokan in a very nice spot of Hokkaido. Onsen was good, the rooms are flawless but staff attitude and dinner left some “could be better” feeling, especially the dinner. Even though we had a buffet booked we were directed into one of the restaurants that had literally 7 options on their menu... Note that buffet is until 20.00 (we arrived at around 19.00).

I like the buffet breakfast and dinner. It’s walkable distance from hell’s valley. Though I wish luggage storage is free. As check in time is at 3pm and we need to check out by 10am. That makes for short sight-seeing time as we only stayed 1 night.

Buffet dinner and breakfast spread are decent with a huge dining hall. However, the quality of food is average. Onsen is huge with 3 indoor and an outdoor, but the onsen is milky. Many guests didn’t shower before entering the onsen. There is a sauna within the onsen area. The corridor and room are full of cigarette smell, making it uncomfortable. Luckily there is an air purifier that can remove the particles in the room, else we wont be able to sleep.

Room is clean and spacious. Overall comfortable.
Nice and comfortable stay. We got the tatami room, and the staffs will help you to make your futon beds in the evening. Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet is not too bad. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Pro: Central location Cons: 1) Due to hotel central aircond, no way to adjust temperature in stuffy room. Given noisy fan to use. 2) Buffet dinner and breakfast not worth to try and taste so-so only. You can eat better quality outside. 3) With such big hotel, the car parking location is not proper and far a bit.

hotel is quite dated but well located (<10 mins walk to hell valley). great onsen! hotel room is spacious, clean and comfortable. no air con during summer, you gotta open the windows to let the cool air in.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Children area was good. I think this hotel is good to visit in the winter. In the summer, the rooms are very hot and stuffy and there's no air conditioner. Just "Cold Air". Rooms are somewhat dirty. It seems most people don't take their baths in the rooms, but instead go to the public baths.

Good relaxing and quiet stay
Chose a Japanese style room. Spacious but aircon is not effective enough in summer, although a standing fan was provided. Bathroom clean and tidy. Separate toilet available, but there was a slight leakage. You need to bring the towels provided if you plan to go the onsen. Overall decor is typically Japanese. Could do with some brightening up. Service staff polite and friendly. Room package came with breakfast and dinner; adequate but not as good as similar hotels of the same group such as the one in Lake Toya. Location is quite centralised with a few convenience stores nearby. Would need to drive around to visit some of the surrounding sites (not on the usual guided tour packages) although the main attractions are within walking distances.

Amazing hotel and free tea is provided at the lobby. Dango was also provided free at the lobby during certain hours. Check-in was extremely smooth with staff having good english. Room was clean and spacious, dinner was a buffet which was amazing. The staff helped to lay out the futons while we were out for dinner. The onsen was one of the best that I have ever been which added a strong plus factor. Overall, a good experience and definitely will be back here again.

The hotel is in a great location. Across from the main bus station, on the city's main strip and a short walk from nature. The condition of the hotel, however, is poor. Rooms are dated and reek of cigarette smoke.

โลเคชั่นดี. อยู่หน้าสถานีรสบัส Noboribetsu onsen เลย. ห้องญี่ปุ่นสวย กว้างขวาง อยู่ชั้น 10 ทำให้โล่งสบาย อาหารเช้าและเย็นดีมาก อร่อยและมีให้เลือกหลากหลายมากๆ แนะนำว่าควรรวมมื้อเย็นด้วย ข้อเสียคือเปิดเช็คอินบ่าย 3 และให้เช็คเอาท์ก่อน 10 โมง และหลังเช็คเอาท์แล้วถ้าฝากกระเป๋าจะเสียใบละ 500 เยน

Love the property, stayed in the traditional japanese room. Was scared that the futon was going to hurt my back, but it was actually very comfortable. Staff was friendly, dinner buffet was amazing and location is good. Highlight is their outdoor hot spring. Direct from Jigokudani. Best feeling ever!
