Independent, Ostermundigen hotels

"Good hotel, amazing location, good breakfast spread (eggs, bacon, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, pancakes, juice). We had the family room which was on 4th floor. The only con would be that the room was really warm, even though it was cold outside. We needed to switch the AC on because it was so warm in the room. Other than that very convenient stay."

"We had a great stay in Bern. The Hotel is excellent, great location, great service. The rooms are very elegant and well decorated, very spacious as well. Parking service is Aldo very good, a little expensive but very good."

"The hotel is a perfect location in the old part of town. The surrounding area is charming and quaint. Thun castle, wooden bridges, restaurants, trains and buses all within walking distance. It’s a great home base for day trips to St. Beatus caves, Bern, and other areas. "

"This was a great hotel for getting to and from the train station as well as the main tourist sights. 2 days a week there is a farmer’s market right outside the hotel. There is a lot of morning traffic and noise, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to use the earplugs they provide. It is airconditioned but is not turned on until May. It was cold outside, but the room was a little stuffy for me, so we opened the window. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, so can’t speak to that."

"Close to the station, easy access to Bern and therefore a lot of train routes for easy travel (if you have the Swiss travel pass). Apartment had utensils needed for cooking which helped save money as food can be expensive in Swizerlabd"
